Classical music as you have never heard or seen it before: virtuosic, visually stunning, and masterfully musical.

With "Hide to Show," the Nadar Ensemble creates, for the third time, a scenic composition by Michael Beil following "Exit to Enter" (2013) and "BLUFF" (2015, directed by Thierry Bruehl). This is their most ambitious work yet. In "Hide to Show," Beil questions and exclaims about the wonders of the internet—with its endless stream of memes, covers, parodies, and deep fakes, it is a goldmine for the composer. Technically, electronics and live (!) video stand out as characteristic elements in Beil's work.

"Hide to Show" is a true tour de force by Michael Beil and the Nadar Ensemble, where your eyes and ears will be overwhelmed. Nothing is as it seems in this stunning performance for young and old, in which video, light, and music are intertwined in an extremely virtuosic manner. By pushing the contradictions between virtual and tangible reality to the limit, our contemporary juggling between these two worlds becomes palpable. The paradox does not disappear; on the contrary, it intensifies. An incredible concert like you have never seen, heard, or experienced before.
