Open-Air Concert at the Castle Estate

For the second time, Herita and B-Classic are organizing a charming open-air concert in the castle park of Heers. The impressive north facade of the late Gothic castle provides a magnificent backdrop.

This year again, a unique mix of musicians will come together. Baroque cellist Benjamin Glorieux effortlessly navigates through various musical genres, from authentically old to experimentally new. Brussels-based Oriana Ikomo mainly sings neo-soul and RnB. Last year, she made it to the finals of De Nieuwe Lichting by StuBru. With her dreamy, rich sound, she is building a strong career!

These two outstanding musicians will be playing together for the first time and will be joined by Tim Finoulst on guitar, Martijn Vanbuel on bass, and Maarten Lingier on piano for the occasion. Together, they will present a unique setlist, specially crafted for this place and moment. The opening act will be provided by the local jazz trio Raft.

Atmosphere & Experience

A visit to the Castle of Heers is always a bit of an adventure. The deteriorated castle is currently being restored by Herita. It is indeed a construction site, but look how cozy we can make it with candles and fire pits!

The concert takes place outdoors. Bring your own chair, cushion, or picnic blanket and find a spot of your choice on the castle grounds. The castle bar, offering local drinks, opens at 7:00 PM. There will also be a food truck. So, take your time to explore this historic site before the concert begins!

Know that your visit contributes to the conservation of this special monument! In case of bad weather, the concert will be postponed. If you cannot attend on the new date, you will receive a refund for your tickets.
